I am passionate about using innovative technology to make a positive impact on society

Hello, my name is Marcelo. I'm a graduate student in the Computer Science and Computational Mathematics Master's Program from University of São Paulo (USP) in São Carlos, and a member of the Database and Image Group.

I have a bachelor degree in computer science from São Paulo State University (UNESP), during which I had the opportunity to study at the University of Toronto for 16 months as a visiting undergraduate student, under a full scholarship offered by the Brazilian Government.

Furthermore, I'm a volunteer software developer at LTIA, a laboratory of UNESP focused on innovative technology, where I had the opportunity to work on projects for companies such as Motorola Solutions.
